Production
This website is produced using a Static Site Generator named Zola. It takes text files stylized in the Markdown syntax to generate Web pages. These templates are custom made using the Tera template engine powering Zola. All of these files are written in VSCodium and are committed to a Git repository. Web hosting is provided by Neocities.
Assets
All assets are locally sourced. This website uses the Cooper Hewitt typeface developed by Chester Jenkins and the Victor Mono typeface developed by rubjo and contributors.
Target
This website aims for simplicity and accessibility. It is tested on a Firefox-based web browser, the Dillo web browser, and the Lynx text-based web browser. Some features may require JavaScript or newer video codecs to run.
Philosophy
The original philosophy of the website was "a Web page as a document," which meant that each page was written as self-contained. (I would even embed the images in the HTML.)
Since then, the new philosophy of the website is to follow the existing cultural movement of maintaining a "Digital Garden." It's much easier that way anyway.
